Mike Minehan is founder and managing director of the Ideas Channel. He is a former TV journalist for New Zealand television and TV Presenter for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the National Nine Network in Australia. As Anchorman of the National Nine Network’s nightly, news background program in Australia, A Current Affair, Mike was presented with three national TV awards.
He has advised CCTV in China (STV in Shanghai) and HTV in Ho Chi Minh City. He helped set up pay TV in Vietnam. Mike speaks basic Chinese and taught at Shanghai University between 1999 and 2003. Mike has a PhD in mass communication and he also teaches at a number of Sydney universities.
Mike has twice been President of the Australian Society of Professional Communicators and he is a novelist published in New York. He advises governments, public and private organizations on a wide range of communication issues. |
